About Us

A word of welcome from the Rector:

Welcome to our website!

We are a diverse and active congregation, with room for all: younger and older, singles and families, traditional and progressive.

The current church traces its heritage to colonial Virginia's Anglican heritage, as a "chapel of ease" for St. Paul's in Norfolk, where the faithful could gather in bad weather.

In 1956, the modern church was re-established as a mission of St. Bride's in Chesapeake, for the growing area of Great Bridge.

For over 50 years, we have been serving our community and providing an inclusive Episcopal presence.

As this page grows, look for information about opportunities to join us - not only to keep the faith, but to share it!
